Easy Ordering

Our website is available 24/7 for customers to place their orders. The fastest way to place an order or find the cost of shipping is to register and place your order in your shopping cart. Once you click on Get Shipping Quotes you will receive bids from various shippers based on your order. These quotes will change as you add or remove product from your cart. We do not add any fee's or charges to shipping you pay what we are charged. We recommend you register and log in when placing orders, If you place a guest order there will be no order history available for you at a later date.  
We have tried to make ordering easy on the website you can search for products and add them to the cart as you find them, you can also add the SKU numbers to the Order by SKU boxes located on the left menu bar and near the bottom of the home page. We also have a quick order tab that allows you to upload your order via a CSV file which is very handy for repeat orders.

PO Numbers
Can I include a purchase order number on my order?
Proceed to checkout once you have finished shopping. At the bottom of the Payment portion of the checkout process, insert your PO number in the PO number field.

Back Orders
We work hard to keep backorders to a minimum but they do happen from time to time. Current dimensional weight charged by the shipping carriers now requires us to hold your order and ship complete whenever possible. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will ship your order as soon as the backorders arrive. Backorders have arrived before the expected due date as we receive trucks every day and we will ship your order as soon as it arrives. Tracking will be sent to you as soon as it is available. We will attempt to send an informational email to alert you about a back order. Please respond to this email if you would like to make any order changes or cancel the order. 

Change or Add to an Order
We cannot change or add to an order. We can cancel an order before shipping so you can place a new or correct order. Orders go direct to the shipping department so please email us within 10 minutes of placing your order if you wish to cancel or place a new order. 

Cancel an Order
Orders are sent directly to our shipping department and are pulled for staging almost immediately. Please check your order carefully before placing it. Once order is placed you may be responsible for any shipping, return, and restocking fee's if cancelled. If you need to cancel an order we recommend you email us within 10 minutes of placing your order if you wish to cancel or place a new order. Any request to cancel an order must be made in writing preferably from the same email that placed the order. Order shipping was quoted by shippers so we cannot make changes to an order, we may be able to cancel your order and you can place a new order at your convenience.
Requesting an Invoice
There is a menu option for invoices in your Profile section. If you need additional assistance just email us for an invoice copy, be sure to give us the order number and email used when order was placed. 
 
Tax Exempt Status
How do I get a Tax Exempt Form?
You can download a Wisconsin Sales / Use Tax Exemption Certificate Form S-211 below. Fill out the form, Print and Fax to the following 24 Hour Fax Line: 1-414-921-1593

Tax Exempt Forms:  Download Wisconsin Sales Use Tax Form S-211
You may request a tax exempt form by calling 877-221-5199. GBE Packaging Supplies must have this form on-file for your company in order to accept tax-exempt purchases.

Shipping and Delivery

We try to ship all orders the same day or next business day but this is not a guarantee. Freight orders might take longer only because we have to get the carrier here to pick up the order. UPS and Fed EX orders ship daily. 

Rush Shipments/Special Instructions

We attempt to ship all orders the same day. We cannot guarantee Same Day Shipping so if you need your order by a certain date guaranteed Please request UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2 Day Air, UPS Next Day Air. We will promptly take care of your needs.

UPS / Fed Ex Shipping
Our website shopping cart features real-time shipping rates with address verification so you know you are paying what we are and no more. Shipping rates have increased steadily with the addition of dimensional weight so we have designed a site that gives you the lowest shipping costs. We do not add any fee's or extra charges to any part of your order. We will email you tracking once your order is processed. Larger orders will be offered local delivery or freight choices.

Local Delivery

If you are within our Local Delivery Area our cart will offer you Local Delivery - This can be a great saving in shipping costs but please keep in mind this is meant for LTL (Less than Truckload) or (Truckloads) so they will deliver orders with a Semi Truck and expect to back into a loading dock and have access to a pallet jack or forklift. If you do not have a loading dock you may have to choose inside delivery or liftgate, and pallet jack. Please note: Failure by customer to request required shipping accessories will result in the customer being charged after the order has been placed.  Customer assumes liability for these charges regardless of whether they were or were not aware that these accessories were required at the time of the order being placed.

Freight Orders

  Larger orders that are too big for ground service will be offered freight companies we work with to get you the lowest shipping cost. Our site is automated and will offer you choices from the shippers based on destination, size, weight and freight class. 
  
  Only Getting Freight Quotes?  Large items such as Full Size Bubble Rolls or Packing Peanuts are freight only items and if they are in your cart it will cause your entire order to only offer freight choices. We do offer UPSable Bubble that are sized to ship ground service. 
  

Various Freight Options

Inside Delivery

Inside Delivery is intended for customers that do not have the equipment to unload shipments. Inside Delivery requests are limited to areas that are directly accessible to the unloading area and no more than 25 feet from entry point of the designated doorway.  Fees apply and can vary by carrier.

Military Bases
Military Bases have restricted access and require special notification to gain entry. Fees apply and vary per carrier. 

Colleges and Universities
Colleges are considered residential for carriers and residential rates apply.

Straight Truck
Locations with limited access will require a straight truck delivery from carriers.  Fees apply and vary by carrier.

Lift Gate
LTL shipments to residential addresses and commercial addresses that do not have a loading dock require a lift gate.  Fees apply and vary by carrier. 

Shortages and Damages
Please check your orders when they arrive!  All claims for shortages and damages must be made within 24 hours of delivery – No Exceptions.  The carriers will now deny any claim that was not indicated at time of delivery so please make the driver wait while you document any shortages or damages on the delivery slip or Bill of Laden when signing for a shipment.


Freight Order Notes: 

1-Freight companies require a signature at time of delivery. Please confirm order is complete and not damaged before signing. Please document any damage or shortage on all copies of the signature delivery sheet. The carriers will now deny any claim that was not indicated at time of delivery so please make the driver wait while you document any shortages or damages on the delivery slip or Bill of Laden when signing for a shipment. All claims for shortages and damages must be made within 24 hours of delivery – No Exceptions

2-Failure to be present at time of delivery will cause carrier to schedule a redelivery. Carriers charge a redelivery fee. 
 
3-Failure by customer to request required shipping accessories will result in the customer being charged after the order has been placed.  Customer assumes liability for these charges regardless of whether they were or were not aware that these accessories were required at the time of the order being placed.

Pick Up
If you are close to one of our warehouses you may choose pick up from your shipping options and save money on shipping costs. Pick Up addresses are below. GBE Packaging Supplies ships nationwide from three fulfillment centers located in Elgin, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; and Hazleton, Pennsylvania. We will send you a confirmation E-mail normally within an hour of placing your order to confirm it is available for pick up. If you do not recieve this email feel free to email us at gbe@wi.rr.com to confirm items are in stock and available for pick up.  If you have any questions regarding customer pick up, please call 877-221-5199.

Returns

Returning Merchandise
We recomend that you email us with details about your order and what you would like to return and why, you can call us at: 1-877-221-5199. Please include your order number, phone, and e-mail address and we will reply with your RA# (Return Authorization Number) and return instructions.
Please do not return product without a return authorization number. We do not offer exchanges so please return merchandise you do not need and reorder the item you wanted an exchange for.

Items purchased from GBE Packaging Supplies cannot be returned more than 30 days after delivery, and you cannot receive a refund for these items after that time. In addition, all returned items must be in unopened and unused condition to be accepted.

Note: There may be a restocking fee along with all applicable freight charges.
